2012 HD El último episodio de "El Chavo" se realizó en 1992. Una de las razones por las que dejó de grabarse el programa de El Chavo, fue debido a la avanzada edad de Gómez Bolaños. Poco después de la finalización del sketch del Chavo del 8, Angelines Fernández se retira y fallece el 25 de marzo de 1994 víctima de un cáncer pulmonar. El 3 de febrero de 1994, Raúl "Chato" Padilla falleció como consecuencia de diabetes, luego de haber dejado temporalmente las filmaciones de "Chespirito" por esa enfermedad a comienzos de ese año. En 1995, "Chespirito" concluye su última temporada. En 1999, Horacio Gómez, quien actuó como Godínez, falleció de un paro cardíaco. -Ramón Valdés tenía una adicción fuerte al tabaco y solía fumar incluso durante la filmación de los diferentes programas de Chespirito. A inicios de los años ochenta se le detectó un cáncer de estómago.Después de dos semanas sedado para evitar el dolor, falleció el 9 de agosto de 1988 a los 64 años de edad a consecuencia del cáncer de estómago que se le expandió, haciendo metástasis en la columna vertebral.
